Service Description: Voluntary service for young people experiencing crisis that prevents homelessness through community housing * the program supports young people 16-26 years of age who have nowhere safe to sleep that evening, by placing them in a volunteer's spare room with a warm meal, and facilities * host families are located throughout York Region so that youth can remain in their home school or place of employment * can be accessed for the night before 5pm with the Program Coordinator * all host families have been trained and approved to provide support to the youth
