Service Description:	Long-term care home * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals * internal transfers to a basic room can take two to three years - residents must continue to pay the private room rate * private fee rates will apply while residing in a private room and waiting for a basic room bedding and furniture laundry and housekeeping meals and snacks personal hygiene supplies medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies) assistance with medication and activities of daily living recreation and social programs   Convalescent Care Program - 15-bed short-stay program for people who no longer need acute care in a hospital setting but need more time to regain full function before returning home * services include nursing, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy to help patients meet rehabilitation goals Inspection Report (Ministry of Health Website) Long-Term Care Homes Capacity: 100 Long-Term Care Home Facility Tour Information   Scheduled group tours every other Wednesday at 10:30am by appointment Long Term Care Room Type Couple In Same Room   Bathroom Types and Amenities Ensuite Private   Ensuite Shared   Elevated Toilet Seat   Emergency Call System   Notes: Separate tubs and shower rooms Special Units Alzheimer's Special Unit   Notes: Cognitive Secure & Complex Care Unit Special Programs Behavioural Support Program   Notes: Night Checks. 2 locked units and 1 secure garden; otherwise free outdoor access.
