Service Description: Long-term care home * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals * internal transfers to a basic room can take two to three years - residents must continue to pay the private room rate * private fee rates will apply while residing in a private room and waiting for a basic room

  • medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs


Convalescent Care Program - 15-bed short-stay program for people who no longer need acute care in a hospital setting but need more time to regain full function before returning home * services include nursing, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy to help patients meet rehabilitation goals
