Ontarians can start getting their free flu shots this week, Health Minister Eric Hoskins said Monday. Vaccines are being shipped to doctor’s offices, public health units and community clinics as well as 2,600 drug stores where pharmacists can give the injections to adults or kids over five. There is also a nasal spray version for children afraid of needles. Kids, pregnant women and seniors are most at risk from the bug, but Hoskins urged everyone to get a shot. “We should never underestimate the flu.” Children as young as six months can be vaccinated.
