Profiles in Diversity Journal recognizes Canadian Mental Health Association, York and South Simcoe’s Rebecca Shields

Rebecca Shields, chief executive officer, Canadian Mental
Health Association York and South Simcoe, has been identified as an outstanding
executive and named among the winners of Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 15th
annual Women Worth Watching awards.


“It is a great privilege to be recognized for this award but
more importantly to be nominated by my peers,” Shields said. “I am very
fortunate to work and lead in an organization that values cultural competency to
provide the best service and work experience.”


There have been 162 nominations selected as 2016 winners. These
leaders join the ranks of past winners, many of which have gone on to become
CEOs of fortune 500 companies. Women Worth Watching award winners are role
models to young women beginning their careers and an inspiration to women in the
pipeline.
