Central CCAC Strategic Plan Advisory Panel

Call for Patient and Caregiver Participation

The Central Community Care Access Centre’s (CCAC’s) Strategic Plan guides our efforts to provide quality care that meets the needs of our patients, our communities and the health system. Our current Strategic Plan (2011-2014) expires on March 31, 2014. Over the next eight months, the Central CCAC will develop a new Strategic Plan that will begin in April of 2014.

We are currently seeking patients and caregivers interested in participating on a Strategic Plan Advisory Panel to provide advice and guidance as we develop the new Plan. Other representatives will include members of Central CCAC’s Board of Directors and management team, as well as our health and community partners and non-management staff.

The Advisory Panel will meet monthly from September 2013 to March 2014.  Meetings will be 2.5 hours long and pre-reading of meeting materials will be required. The Panel seeks to include a variety of skill sets, which will be considered in the selection process.   In addition to the Advisory Panel there will be other opportunities for patient and caregiver input into the new Strategic Plan including written submissions and focus groups.

For more information or to express your interest in participating on the Advisory Panel, email Lynn.Harrett@central.ccac-ont.ca or call 905-763-9928, ext. 4256
