Community-based support group for injured workers that meets monthly * open discussion to connect with other workers to assist in addressing Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) issues
Supports and initiatives:
- consultations
- peer support
- raising awareness
- information and resources
- engage in political action seeking justice for injured workers
- member of Ontario Network of Injured Workers
Day of Mourning April 28 at Barrie City Hall and June 1 is Injured Workers' Day
