Service Description:
|
One-to-one counselling services * support may include goal setting, problem solving, healthy relationships, emotional and practical supports, CAS advocacy, assistance completing applications * counsellors can provide referrals to community social service agencies that help with:- mental health support
- housing
- employment
- education resources
- legal
- finances (such as Ontario Works and LEAP)
- child care fee subsidy
- community programs for children and/or caregivers
Counsellors provide in-person, telephone, text and/or email support, as well as socially-distanced home visits across York Region
