Service Description: Provides information and support to individuals struggling with addiction as well as family or friends who are struggling with the effects of alcohol, drug or other addiction in their lives * services Jewish and non-Jewish communities

Services include:
Counselling to family members, counselling to individuals struggling with addiction, counsellor-facilitated support groups for addicts and families, educational workshops in schools/camps/youth groups, adult education and outreach events in the community

Meetings: What About Me?: *NEW* Tue 6:30pm–7:45pm * For siblings or parents with family who have alcohol, drug or other addictive behaviours * To attend or for more information please call David or Marlee at JACS * This meeting is held at 846B Sheppard Ave. W. Main Floor

Sunday Men’s Support Group: Sundays 12pm-2pm * A weekly meeting where men of all ages discuss day-to-day challenges, ranging from work, emotions to spouses and raising children * The group is open to all men, including both addicts/alcoholics and family members * The group is a relaxed complement to those seeking recovery * This meeting is held at 846B Sheppard Ave. W. Main Floor

Concerned Persons Group (level II): Tuesdays 8pm-9:30pm * An advanced meeting that utilizes a group format to discuss complex issues surrounding living with addiction, co-dependency or whatever is helpful to explore * You must attend Here To Help (level I) before attending this group * This meeting is held at 846B Sheppard Ave. W. Main Floor

JACS is also a host of numerous 12-Step Groups including Cocaine Anonymous, Al-Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous Beginners Group, Overeaters Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous
