Service Description:
|
Providing training and support to parents with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have been deemed eligible for support through Developmental Services Ontario * team of therapists teach families skills to make them more self-sufficient and reinforce positive behaviours and communication to build healthy positive relationships * aim to reduce the risks of child neglect and abuse to promote the cognitive and physical development of children
Offers the following parenting groups:- Prenatal (during pregnancy)
- Postnatal (1-1 years old)
- Early Childhood (1-4 years old)

Once eligibility is confirmed by DSO, email Adult Intake - adult.intake@surreyplace.ca and ask them to make a referral to PEP
|
