Service Description: Door to door shared-ride service for individuals unable to use conventional public transit for all or part of their trip due to a physical or functional disability in York Region
  • connecting services to other transit zones are available

Fees: Service - Fare prices available online
There is no registration fee
Application: Complete the mobility on-request Paratransit Application Package online or call 1-866-744-1119 to a request hard copy

Registration Forms to be completed and signed by the applicant and a health care professional

Registrants receive personal numbered registration card
Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals unable to use conventional public transit due to a physical or functional disability for all or part of their trip

Considered on a case-by-case basis, applicants must have at least one of the following limitations:
  • unable to walk a distance of 175 metres / 575 feet
  • cognitive disabilities impacting functional or physical ability to use conventional transit, including emotional disabilities, brain injury, intellectual or learning disabilities
  • experiencing sensory motor area conditions, such as Parkinson's disease
  • legally blind and have undergone travel training
