Service Description: Supports to deaf and hard of hearing individuals to find a job and succeed by working with employees and employers to put the right supports in place * employment consultants can provide help with:
  • job search challenges related to hearing loss
  • career planning
  • identify job related training and development programs
  • resume and cover letter writing
  • help preparing for interviews
  • arrange an interpreter or live translation of speech to text for your interviews
  • accessing funds for work related expenses, such as appropriate clothing, training, or assistive devices including hearing aids

Fees: Support services are free * set fees for devices and sign language interpreting services
Application: Individuals may contact the office to request service
Eligibility / Target Population: People who are Deaf or hard of hearing
Languages: English * French * American Sign Language (ASL)
