Service Description: Offering education and support group for people and families impacted by Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) * group is divided into two components – Education and Training, and Family Support

Running for a total of 7 weeks, people with PPA and their conversation partners (family members or close friends) will learn about Primary Progressive Aphasia and its impact, as well as Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia (TM) tools and strategies to support daily communication * Specialized Family Support Group Meetings are available in the latter component of this program, where the unique needs of those impacted by PPA area addressed

Ongoing Family Support Group Meetings are available to all family members following the Living Your Best Life Education and Support Group. Groups focus on continued support for family members affected by PPA

Application: PPA Referral form available on website * Neurology Consultation note required
Eligibility / Target Population: Adults affected by aphasia, who need physical, social, or emotional supports
