  • individual and group counselling
  • career exploration
  • skills based training for better employability
  • information and referral: health care, housing, school, recreation, transportation, banking
  • career and skills assessment
  • access to computer lab, printer, fax, and photo

Training programs and events
  • cash register training
  • retail and customer service training
  • food safety/handling training certificate (to gain skills for working in the food industry)
  • writing a resume/cover letter
  • job interview skills
  • WHIMIS training
Guest speakers covering a range of settlement topics, field trips and cultural celebrations

Eligibility / Target Population: Newcomer women, girls and gender diverse people 13 years and older; must be permanent resident or Convention refugee or temporary resident with work permit under the Live-in Caregiver program, CUAET
