Service Description:
|
Services range from companion care through to personal care and nursing * services available at home, in retirement homes, long term care facilities, assisted-living facilities, clinics, hospitals, and other settings- personal care services - bathing and dressing, dental hygiene or grooming, light house cleaning, meal preparation, help with medications
- homemaking services - floor cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, dishwashing, dusting, bed making, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, overall upkeep of the home
- nursing - administering medication, changing dressings, intravenous therapy, pain and symptom management, chronic disease management and therapy, ventilator care, serious injury care, hospice palliative care, etc
- nutrition and diet
- pediatric care - special-needs children of all ages
- live-in care (not suitable for every patient as some individuals require a much higher level of care)
- caregiver relief / respite care)
- companion services, accompaniment to outings and appointments
- offers caregivers specialized training in acquired brain injury (ABI), Alzheimer's and dementia care, end of life care and diabetes care
