Service Description:
|
Stimulating activities in a culturally sensitive environment to people (over 50) of Italian origin suffering with the beginning stages of cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer's Disease, the aging process, and other diseases or brain injuries
Various programs are offered by professionals who monitor clients and attempt to slow cognitive impairment and prevent and/or delay institutionalization * variety of activities are available which are designed to stimulate the participant's memories in a secure and supervised environment
Therapeutic groups:
- music group
- arts and crafts
- exercise classes
- outings
- baking and cooking group
Services:
- meals and snacks
- spiritual enrichment
- hairdressing

Nutrition |
Breakfast, lunch and snack included. Cost of meals included in price. Hot Italian style lunch. Special diets available. |
Mobility Assistance |
Clients admitted into this program do not require assistance with mobility aids. |
Incontinence |
Clients admitted into this program are able to toilet independently. |
Medication Management |
No assistance with medication. |
