Service Description: Provides occupational health services and information meant to detect, prevent and eliminate work-related injuries and illnesses * network comprised of doctors, nurses, hygienists, ergonomists, researchers, and administrators

Services include:
  • an inquiry service to answer work-related health and safety questions
  • Assessing whether work accidents or exposures have caused a health condition
  • outreach and education to increase awareness of health and safety issues, and promote prevention strategies
  • research services to investigate and report on occupational illnesses and injuries

Eligibility / Target Population: Workers, joint health and safety committees or representatives, unions, employers, health professionals, community groups, legal clinics, students and members of the public
