Service Description: York Rainbow Support Services: includes counselling, group support and referrals for individual, couples, families, young children and teens from the 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies, friends and families.

Counselling services and groups: Gender Galaxies Group (12-17 youth), Trans Support Group (adults 18+) and Free to Be (adults 18+) * all counsellors are experienced in 2SLGBTQ+ related issues such as:
  • coming out
  • sexual orientation and gender identity issues
  • life transitions
  • relationship issues
  • marriage transitions
  • couple conflict
  • discrimination
  • aging
  • parenting
FSYR also offers 2SLGBTQ+ Group programs

Fees: Fees are based on a sliding scale according to the individual's income and ability to pay. No one is turned away because of inabiity to pay. Proof of income may be required to ensure equity and fairness to hose they serve.
Application: Call to book an appointment through centralized intake.
Eligibility / Target Population: Assessment process. Not suitable for people with severe mental illness or addiction.
